How to Win at Multi-Hand Blackjack
Description: When you play multi hand blackjack, you are giving yourself more. You have more hands, more ways to win, more chances of blackjack, and more money that you can walk away with if you are lucky.
Basic Blackjack
The goal of blackjack is to accumulate a hand that totals close to twenty-one without going over (going "bust"). You are battling with the dealer. If both of you end up with hands under twenty-one, whomever is closer wins. Your advantage over the dealer is that you draw cards up until the point you want, while the dealer must stop when he reaches seventeen. You can stop at any point you choose. If you hold and your hand is better than the dealer's (closer to twenty-one without going over), you win.
Blackjack and Blackjack
Many versions of the game let you split you hand if you have a pair. For example, if you have a pair of Aces, your hand is starting out as twelve (Aces equal eleven or one). Twelve is really bad since your chances of getting a face card or ten are fairly high. That would give you twenty-two and a bust. However, if you split you hand into two new hands, each one has a good shot at getting blackjack. Even if you don't get blackjack, eleven is a good number to start with because you cannot go bust on your next card.
Blackjack Times Five
The same way that splitting a hand and running two separate hands makes the game more exciting is used in multi hand blackjack. However, in multi-hand, you can run five separate hands. Even better, you don't have to wait for a pair to split. At the beginning of the game you can start with five hands. That gives you five chances to win, five shots at blackjack. In other words, five different ways to win money. The best thing is each hand is independent. If the Dealer goes bust, you can win with all five hands!
